TRANS-MONTRÉAL est un événement se tenant les 17 et 18 septembre 2015, à l'Université McGill.

Encadré par l'association professionnel international en art performance (Performance Studies International _PSI), le projet PSi #21 Fluid States explore les "Performances du non-savoir" (Performances of UnKnowing). Par une conférence décentralisée (via des groupes d'études lié au thème "TRANS") qui - au lieu d'inviter les participants à un seul endroit - les invite à participer en direct ou en ligne dans les programmes de conférences, colloques et performances locales à travers l'Afrique, l'Asie, l'Europe, les Amériques et le Pacifique pendant toute l'année.

TRANS-MONTRÉAL : Le Thème "Trans" explorera les complexités des «états» de l'être (toujours en mouvement ou "fluide") qui définissent une métropole toujours active, toujours en vie, et toujours en évolution. Une ville qui doit se situer même par rapport à un continent qui ignore largement ce qu'elle a à offrir, autant qu’aux milieux anglophone artistiques et performatifs dominants et dans des réseaux internationaux de l'art et de la culture francophone.

Performance (mots-clés): translation (traduction), transmedia (qui chevauche les médias/médiums), transmigration, transformation, transidentification.

Je participe au groupe d'étude TRANS-MONTRÉAL "Transaction/Transformation".

Présentations/Performances du groupe TRANS-MONTRÉAL de 14 h 30 à 16 h 00, le jeudi 17 septembre, au local Coach House (CH 200) de l'université McGill, 3715 rue Peel.

Transaction/Transformation:
Perceiving the Event in a Liminal Time-Space Continuum Chairs/Moderators: Victoria Stanton (independent performance artist/workshop facilitator/author), Sylvie Tourangeau (independent performance artist/workshop facilitator/author/curator) 

• Giving agency to the performative as a way of observing that which is  difficult to perceive, a short presentation by Victoria Stanton and Sylvie Tourangeau will be followed by a collective performative experience on transaction and transformation with the participation of Evelyne Bouchard (independent performance artist), Diane Dubeau (independent performance artist), Anjuna Langevin (independent performance artist), Julie Laurin (independent performance artist and sculptor), Susanne de Lotbinière-­‐Harwood (literary translator and independent performance artist), and Nicole Panneton (independent performance artist), artists working in micro-­‐intervention and la déambulation.

Le public est invité à assister aux présentations et aux performances.
